Sports Day 2024 brought back memories of the pre-Covid days of fun that our annual Sports Day brings to our school community each year. Organised each year by ur fantastic PE Department,  the day proves to be a fun-filled, inclusive celebration of our wonderful students. The day saw fancy dress, traditional sports day games such as the three-legged race and the wheelbarrow, penalty shoot out, sack race, egg and spoon race, welly-throwing competition to name but a few events. This year we were delighted to receive generous sponsorship from our Parents Association Committee resulting in day hire of several bouncy castles and inflatables which added hugely to the students' enjoyment of the day. Sincere thanks is extended, as always, to the PAC for their support. The highlight of the day is the teachers versus the sixth years, which, saw the teachers, yet again, come out on top! There were claims of both sabotage and cheating from the sixth year cohort and investigations are ongoing. Perhaps we might have to have a re-match! 

Well done to all the girls for their particpation in the day. We sincerely hope that you can add this day to your bank of cherished memories from your Loreto College schooldays.
