Public Speaking is an extracurricular activity open to all senior students.
Participants are encouraged to improve the art of communication and to participate in competitions. Over the years, our students have represented our school with distinction at local, regional and national level on the public speaking stage. All participants have enhanced their sense of pride and achievement. Participation also encourages greater social awareness.
We enter our students in the Soroptimist International Public Speaking Competition annually. This is a great forum to develop self confidence in communicating their ideas. Students are mentored by Ms Cosgrave, and meetings take place at lunchtime once a week once competition particulars are available.
