Each class elects a representative to the Student Council, who meet regularly with staff representatives. Students are encouraged to discuss issues of relevance to them and to participate in the decision-making process in our school.

The Student Council are in charge of running the annual Loreto`s Got Talent Show which has become a highlight of the school year. Auditions take place and acts are then chosen to perform in the show in front of the whole school.

The Student Council last year also sponsored gear bags for the U16 Basketball Team for their All-Ireland Cup final.

All classes are encouraged to elect a representative on the council who then reports back to their class.
